#1 nedhills Thread starter 21 Feb 2012 03:08 The guy before me put a really ugly patch on my exhaust, and tried to paint over the black chrome. I cut out the old patch and fabricated a new piece. right now they are at the shop being coated with a high heat coat.

Wow! Great work!!! Can't tell it was ever damaged, and it looks better than most original exhausts out there.
Wow - the rework weld and paint is impressive. Great job!
I do believe that is black ceramic coating, not paint.
Black exhaust make me think of my Cafe racer project... long way to go...
