Extended throttle cables for 5th gen

I have stock bars on a 99 vfr800. Plan to swap over to helibars and would like to retain factory throttle cable routing. I have searched this forum and others, with mixed results on which year st1100 cables are the best for a 2.5" extension. Does anyone know what year will work best? Are there better Options?

I have heard Convertibars sells longer cables -

I have helibars and did not need to put on longer cables just reroute them around the frame for the correct length cables
