Ok, so I received my new st1100 throttle cables today (17910-MT3-000 cable A and 17920-MT3-000 cable B). I spent about an hour and a half installing the helibars. The clutch side went without a hitch, however I am stuck on the throttle side. I have the bars installed, and the throttle cables routed following the factory route, but the free length of the cables seems too short to be able to attach at the engine end of the cable. Is there a trick to getting the cable back into the throttle body end?

you will get very little to no slack but it works. I am using it for last 6 months and no issues. in time it will stretch.

Did you remove the bracket that the throttle cables attach to? Then you can move the cables closer to the wheel, and hook the cables in their grooves, then slide the assembly back and resecure the bracket to the throttle bodies.
I JUST did this this week, and it worked fine. You may have to manually work the throttle wheel to get the cables attached.

No, I did not remove the bracket, was trying to lasso the wheel with the bracket attached. I will give it a try! Thanks.
Ok, pulling the bracket was the ticket! I'm back in business! Thanks all
