So, i stripped off my rear tail assembly (left the lights and signals in it) as well as the left and right fairings and front air dam. Well, I "thought" I would remember where all the bolts go. I don't.
Would someone bail me out and take some pics of the mounting hardware in the major locations.
Also, I am swapping to a Sargent seat, plan to ditch the rear seat cowl for now. Do I need to shim out at the frankenbolts? Any suggestions as to what to use?
Ok, so using the gallery an some common sense, I figured out that my son had put some john deere bolts in the bag of motorcycle parts.. Ugh, back together again. My only remaining question is re the Frankenstein bolts w/o using the seat cowl. Do I need to shim here?

There are some plastic shims that go in the slots when not using the cowl. Also a rubber "butt plug" for the back of the cowl, above the taillight.
