Shocking used of rubber...Rubber shock mud flap

I was talking to another Viffer owner and he told me that he used some rubber to keep his rear shock clean...so..
Picture 1 Stock shock and sub frame mud flap
2 rubber used to extend mud flap
3 Dremel used to drill flap for pop rivets
4 Rubber mud flap extension installed

A little close to the exhaust header dont u think ?

Ya probably, but we shall see, I'll warm her up and trim some off if need be.

Hope it works for you, if it doesn't get caught up on anything, it'll do the job of a hugger.

Welllll, I guess it does the job. Can't say as I care for the looks any.

it keeps the debris out from the shock area and works well. and after a few trips it all looks like the road.

Really you would not even notice it unless you were looking for it and even then with a little trimming you could make the lines smoother for a more intergrated look.
