I was talking to another Viffer owner and he told me that he used some rubber to keep his rear shock clean...so..
Picture 1 Stock shock and sub frame mud flap
2 rubber used to extend mud flap
3 Dremel used to drill flap for pop rivets
4 Rubber mud flap extension installed

Really you would not even notice it unless you were looking for it and even then with a little trimming you could make the lines smoother for a more intergrated look.
