The journey with my VFR

Was thinking about doing this for a while, been procrastinating it all the while. Finally decide to atleast start it off so i will be more forced to sit down and finish it. Other than just doing a ride report for once, i thought i might as well just share some brief thoughts that rushes through my mind as my love for the beloved VFR grows exponentially. Had it only about for 2 months or so, and even with an air tight schedule i found time to put on 3000 plus miles on it. So check back soon for some random write ups and hopefully some catchy pictures.

I started of my riding back in India on Yamaha RX100 about 15 yrs back. Amazing bike and fun to ride, during the years i rode around in India i rode rd 350, royal enfield and various other not so famous brands here. I though i could do it all after riding for these many years in such a chaotic hustle bustle without any events. Once i reached US last year my first bike was a Ninja ZX 6r which i thought i could handle easily with the riding experience i had. But i was so wrong, the riding style, roads and bike was entirely different and formed an altogether obstacle in front of me. I had to relearn everything i know about riding which was at times even harder than learning from null. And hence i been struggling with my riding since the last one year, until ...until i came across the VFR 800, been reading up on the VFR a lot and decided it was the bike for me and couple of months back went ahead and got my 2008 VFR 800 non ABS (sword silver color no extras) at a fairly above avg price tag ..just because i wanted one real bad. Obsession I developed after reading up, hearing rider experiences and watching several videos was too much for me to stay back and bought it right away and started the ride. Little did I know this ride that was going to change my life style on two wheels for ever.
