I have a good number of 6th Gen Solo Racks ready to ship - and to be straightforward, I need to get the money out of them.  Been sitting for a year - they need to go.

My price has been either $124 initially to $130 (recently) - shipping charges increased significantly and there were fluctuations in the exchange rate.

That price includes shipping and the mounting bolts.

A member very recently bought one - and if this "Group buy" is successful, I'll gladly rebate him the difference.

If I can get 10 or more members to buy a 6th Gen Solo Rack within the next 7 days, I'll knock the price down to $105 USD shipped - down from $130 USD.

Basically I'm going to eat the shipping fees as I allocate $25-30 per rack for shipping.

SO - if you want one - please sign up and encourage others.

Here's the original FOR SALE thread....

Ok - thanks for the pm's - I'll start a list and really would like to get 10 names on it to move these out with shipping on me!

Add your name to the list and re-post if you want one.

Paypal is the method of payment.

Thanks!

Mia put him in time out and kept his allowance.  He's gotta sell some racks for beer money.

I wish it was for beer money!  Too much time sitting on money invested building these.....

Hope some more folks want a rack - I'm leaning hard toward not building these after my inventory is gone.

I've had several members send me the money via paypal already and I don't feel right holding their funds without shipping (to wait to get 10 members).

I'll be shipping those members that paypalled me already, tonight.  If others want one, send me a PM, and I'll give you my Paypal account address.

This pricing offer of $105 USD Shipped (North America) is over - end of July.

Thanks!

The dumbest damn question you'll get today:

So it appears that unlike the factory top case mount these do NOT require a change to the factory passenger pegs or grab handles and mount over the standard solo cowl with no problem - correct?  Also - what bag(s) are they compatible with?

I'm quite interested if I'm "getting" it.  Thanks!

It mounts over the solo cowl if you want it.   All you need is some longer bolts for the grab handles, which Ken includes (unless things have changed).   You can drill the rack to accept just about any case's mounting plate.  You don't bolt a plain case down to the rack itself.

Thanks!  I left my original message even though I got my answers from the original thread in the first post in case others shared my questions.   :tour:

THanks for filling in Tim - YES I include longer bolts, washers and lock washers.  You need to get a base that mounts to my Solo Rack (and it is pre drilled for GIVI or Honda OEM) and your topbox mounts onto your base.

Last couple days - then the no fee shipping offer is over.  I shipped 3 units last night - and one went to Australia!  Cool!
