Anyone have any laying around for a 3rd gen? BB wants about $25 for one bolt and collar shipped to my house. I say no thank you!!! That's a lot for a bolt!

Frankenbolts are the long bolts that stick out from the rear fairing and bolt to the seat. They also secure the solo seat cowl (If you have one).

McMaster Carr has a decent replacement. Shoulder bolt. The precision ones are about $7 a piece (precision you can get in stainless). I got some M6 shoulder bolts from Ace hardware, and had some guys in the lab nickel plated them for me. I have an extra one of those laying around somewhere...if you want it I will try to find one. It is a socket cap shoulder bolt, so it doesn't match exactly.

Thanks but I think I'll just ditch them if I can't find a match and head to ACE and find something not so frankenish.
I'm pretty sure I've got an extra but will have to look for it. PM your address to me and I'll update you in a day or two.
