Very cool! I only wish they added a link to VFRD so people who are interested could see exactly how much work it took to make her beautiful again! Kind of a "this is how much this guy loves his bike and here's what he's willing to do for it" angle...

I wrote the link to VFRd in my blurb, but they edited it out. :sad:

Rob's a lot less grainy in real life.  And that clear clutch cover is kind of mesmerizing.
So, Rob, you lost 35 pounds?  You'll be way faster now!  Just think how many spendy carbon fibre and titanium bits you'd have to swap on to your bike to lose 35 pounds ...

Why us there no mention of the fact that I now run your old crashed clutch cover? Man, some people are just "me, me, me"

I have to say, I'm more than a little chuffed that you had the cover installed for the pic! :smile:

Unf, those pics were taken last fall before I powder coated the swing arm and got the red brake lines put on, etc.

But yeah, I definetly made sure the Sebspeed Industries clutch cover was front and center!

It is far from the highlight on your bike, you've done a lot of nice work to your VFR. I'm happy to be a part of it.

I saw that blurb and was 99.99% convinced that that had to be Veefer800Canuck. The dead give-away was the nomenclature for naming your bike.

Glad to see some VFR love and always good to see good folks in there too!

Veefer, just read your article in Motorcyclist after reading some of your posts regarding suspension upgrades. Very cool article & picture. BTW, I work in Summit County, about 10 miles from Dillon, & probably know everyone on the Lake Dillon Fire-Rescue & Summit County Ambulance Service crews who responded to your accident. Glad you & "the old girl" are back in action!
