I got my parts which include air filter, plugs and R/R. I have undortunately found that my right front injector is not working and the left rear injector is barely working. I am going to try running seafoam through to unclog the Fuel system. Has anyone sucessfully done this?
Also can anyone recommend a good aftermarket injector if I cant get mine to work properly?
I've had great luck on several 5th gen injectors that were completely stuck causing dead cylinders, all I did was RAP the metal base of the questionable injector with a piece of wood and a hammer.
It has freed every injector I've tried it on, then just run a tank of heavy SeaFoam. All is well.
I finally got my bike back in my posession after my dad has tried to get bike running and couldn't. My front 2 injectors are not spraying. This seems odd to me that both of the front ones would not fire. Can anyone tell me if there is a fuse that controls both of those injectors. Or is there any known common reason they would not spray.
I am trying to follow BaileyRocks advice however getting the lower portion of the airbox out of the way is holding me up. Can anyone tell me is there an easier way to reach the injectors without removing that plastic housing? I dont have any manuals or schematics to see any of this information. Any more help would be much appreciated.
I have got to get my baby running again, now that i have the bike back home it shouldn't be long I hope!

No fuse, but all injectors on VFRs are "ground switched", which means they are all provided a constant +12v power feed and the ECU switches each injector on and off by switching the ground side of each one. It is highly unlikely that the ECU has failed - it will either be wiring faults downstream of the ECU or just mechanically stuck injectors. As everyone has said, give them a tap with a hammer to see if they free up.
You know the service manual is available in the downloads section of the forum, right?
Thanks for that link, I did not know it was available. That should help alot. Hopefully I find something simple. Im working on getting the air filter housing off so I can tap the injectors.
Thanks for the reply...I just find it odd both front injectors would stick so i figured it would be electrical. But im definately trying that first. Does anyone know if the injector connectors are easy to access once filter housing is off. I should just be able to check if the bad injectors are getting voltage. If so they prolly mechanically stuck.

Yep, very easy to get to. Once the airbox is off you can quite easily remove the entire injector harness. You can test the injector resistance using a multimeter - the specs will be in the manual you download.
If yours are electrically stuffed - i.e. high resistance - I'm happy to sell you my '02 injectors for $20 the lot. I think somebody else has already fitted some to their bike? Maybe it was RangerScott69.
Oh - I remember now. He fitted a 6th-gen throttle body to his bike along with 6th-gen injectors. I have two of those throttle bodies for sale as well.
OK so I was looking over the manual and I see NOT to use throttle body cleaner. Which I used to get the bike running awhile ago. I got it going and rode up the street and back. It sat for maybe a month if that long and I went out to fire it up again. At this time I couldnt get it going at all.
Is it likely the molybnum or whatever it is clogged the injectors? I have noted it is number 2 and 4 injectors. It just seems highly unlikely they would both just stick 1 and 3 spray fine.
Also if I use sea foam and the injector is clogged and I cant get it running seems like it would not do any good.
Will sea foam works its way to the injector or something?
Tomorrow I plan on spending some time working on the bike.
