Interesting idea. "On-Star" for motorcycles. I wonder what the limitations are, i.e. What's the coverage area? Does the unit have a backup battery built-in in case there is total power loss from the motorcycle?

If I understood correctly, it draws power from the motorcycle until it detects that the battery is too low, then it runs off of it's internal battery.
If I was guaranteed to be straddled by a cute female emergency responder, I might be encouraged to crash more often. :goofy:
