Just Got My Vfr

and I love it. its a 94 750, just a fe questions, any way to give it more power? how to fix cracks in body work, and where to buy d and d exhaust, and the back seat cover no idea what its called, thanks guys!

Anyway,  the stuff your asking about has been post close to 1000 times.  Lots of good info here, just do some searching and you'll find all your answers.  To get you started though.

Power?  no real way to get more power without engine work.  yeah,  a pipe and jetting will get you a couple but for big power, buy a busa.

Bodywork:  Lots of ways to fix it,  fixing is easier than finding new panesl

Exhaust:  buy a can you like and have someone custom make the mid-pipe.  Easier and cheaper.

Seat cowl:  ebay, classifieds and craigslist.  I think there is a company that makes them though.  I'll have to look that one up.

Welcome and nice choice of bikes. The 94 - 97s are identical and fall into the 4th generation catagory. I rode my '97 for TEN YEARS! I purchased my D&D direct from the factory in Fort Worth. The photo in their catalog under "94 -'97" shows a newer generation VFR but the model number listed is in fact for your bike. They ship everything you need to mount the pipe and I think I paid about $230 including shipping when I bought mine. Absolutely loved the sound and got compliments on it REGULARLY. In fact, some of my coworkers have asked if I miss the sound of it since I bought my newer VFR. I bought the polished aluminum version and you can still find several pics in my gallery if you would like to take a look.

ProTip: don't get an aluminum can, they dent, scratch and tarnish too easily.

Stainless steel, Titanium, or Carbon Fibre, your choice.

I guess climate might play a role with aluminum but here in Colorado, my polished aluminum looked just the same as new after 8 years of use.

Maybe the salt and grit they use up on the roads where Veefer lives is more corrosive than what CO is using?

I had Yosh aluminum cans on my '83 and '86 and I hated the upkeep on them.

I had a Yosh can (Al) on my F2 track bike and it looked pretty beat up and dull, although I never tried to help it's appearance.
