Well, that was some morning...........

My local mc dealer has his annual open day, so that means picking up something else to play :goofy:

Adultery is promoted, so I took full advantage!

Very nimble, great throttle response, good wind protection for such a small shield.

My redslut is much much noisier.....

Accellerates fine but above 140kmh, the windpressure becomes harder to overcome and the windnoise quadruples...

Bit nervous over a long tar snake...

Next ride was a porker alright, including extra large fuel tank....

did not enjoy this as much as the F700, seating was very high, just got my toes to the ground.

Whereas it has a lot more powerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, I'd prefer to take the F700 out on a tour around the world. Unless it is all tarmac....

DCT is flawless, accellerates (in "S") very well, manual flippers are eays to use, very powerfull braking.

But that seat GDammm....  it is molded bucket shape and too short, so the "ridge" to pushing in your azz. Not nice....

But a free ride is a free ride....

And to cool down......

Macna launched a new cooling vest. Instead of soaking it in water, you put water inside the vest

The technology is from a company called Inuteq.

I will test is next week (when we get 25 C+ and my inlaws will have left.....).

I do not think it makes my azz look big or my gut huge???

Looks like you got your fix for a while. I like that first Bmw you got--wouldn't mind taking it for a few thousand kms myself.

You're right about going for a lighter bike if you'll be off-roading. If you get stuck in soft sand or if you drop it, you will never be able to get that 1200 up again by yourself.

The vest is definately worth the 89 euros I paid for it.

Filling up a dodle, Macna specified the plug to be on the front. The patent owners version has the plug at the back. Look up inuteq for more details.

Fitting is comfortable, never noticed it being "present". Th L/XL was a little too snug so went for the 2XL/3xl.

The climate inside my leather jacket definately improved. Do not expect airco cooling.
The front flap on my jacket can be zipped off, exposing closely nit mesh fabric all along the zip, some 5 inches wide.
This makes the vest even more efficient, the vest itself having little holes as well.
Your body stays dry and at 30c at a traffic light I can tell the difference vs no cooling vest for sure.
