5Th Gen Pciii Maps Suggestions

I'm looking for recommendations on a map for my power commander 3 . I have a k&n air filter and Delkevic high mount with the spud removed. This is the map I'm currently running. seemed like the closest match to my setup. 

2000-2001 Honda VFR 800 European model Laser Duotech open slip on, no insert Stock or aftermarket air filter O2 eliminators installed     So which map are you guys running??     Thanks Jess

I am running a map from a dynotuner who wrote it for my specific motorcycle. It wasn't that expensive. And it's as perfect as it can be. Anything else is like trying to hit a bulls-eye from 25 yards - blindfolded. To be honest, I don't understand why people believe that a map written for someone else's motorcycle optimizes fueling/performance for THEIR motorcycles. Please enlighten me. Not trying to be a jerk. I really don't get it.

I think your analogy is a little flawed. it's more like having a handful of darts and trying to find which one is best weighted for you. Add to that the fact that dyno tuning around here is 100$ an hour I'm willing to try a few out and see what I like. Have you ever posted up your map for others to try?

My dynotuner is trying to make a living building and tuning sportbikes.  I would feel like a cheater - or worse - if I shared his map.

Well I don't mind sharing the map I've been using on my 2000. It is supposed to be for a euro model.

I can't remember where I got it from but it is working well for me.

Pulls smooth right through the rev range and gets great gas mileage as well.

I'm like you, not everybody can afford stealership dyno tuning.
