Hey Guys! I'm in Charlotte, NC and always looking for more VIFFERS to ride with!
Charlotte has a pretty diverse sportbike scene and we're in a HUGE Charlotte motorcycle group that rides all the time. I think right now we have about 5 VFR's in the group.
If anyone is in the area please let me know, love to plan some V4 madness haha!
Summertime there are rides in the area daily. This time of yeah it's a little slower, but every weekend you'll find a smaller group of us out riding.

After I get back from my deployment, perhaps we can meet up sometime in the Summer, as I'm out of Columbia, S.C.

Flew into Charlotte last year to meet up with Gradus (and his VFR800) for TMAC.

Yeah man we are actually riding to Columbia on Saturday, they have the best chicken and waffles place on earth that we always ride to.

I'm in Greenville SC, just to the south. I'm usually riding on any given weekend, and would love to meet up sometime. Just let me know when you'd like to. Starting Sat, I've got two 5 day weekends, so I plan to do some riding.

awesome! I will be sure to post rides in here!! We rode down to Greeneville a few weekends ago for lunch, I'm sure we'll do it again soon!
Pirate I bought my last bike from Morgantown off a very cool guy named Josh Smith - it was an '07 Z1000 (i put some pics in my gallery, now it's in Motorcycle Heaven lol), woudl be cool if you knew him. He also had a Speed Triple and a FJ1300 if I recall correctly. We ride old 18 (my all-time favorite road) and 181 all the time - since there are so many in the area we need to look at a nice VFR group ride thru the mountains and BRP!!
Doug there will be MANY more - seriously this place is called Kiki's Chicken & Waffles - they opened about a year ago and they've already expanded twice - it is amazing. We normally go down there once a month or so to get our fix. There are constantly group rides heading down there haha. When you get back you HAVE to check it out...

Can't say that I know him, but I've only been in the saddle for a couple of years so I'm still getting connected. I'm at school at ECU most of the time, but keep me posted on riding and I'll do my best to go when I can. I'm home now till the 5th of Jan.

oh yeah, and as always it was AWESOME! a must-visit....
I have been bike less for two years now and I live in southwest Charlotte near the airport. Someday I will get another one:)
Hello from the UK, the company I work for has an office in Huntersville which I visit occasionally so if any of you good fellas want to lend me a bike and point me in the direction of the best roads next time I'm there that'd be cool :biggrin:
I'm a very sedate and careful rider so you won't have to worry about the bike :wheel:

I'm in CLT. Where is this huge riding group? I'm part of NCS and these guys hardly ride at all. :P
We've already got a ride planned on this side of the mountains.
Cool! I know the owner of NCS pretty well, he's a very good dude. I'll post up the details for our rides soon. We get large rides for weekday nights, but on the weekends (mountains & stuff) I keep my group kinda small to minimize risks. I've been on too many large mountain rides and just felt uneasy the whole time.
Wednesday night we're starting by heading to Sportbike Nite at Fat Fingers in Rock Hill, then making our way up to QSL/Twin Peaks. Last week we had about 40 of us....should be a good turnout this week as well, weather is going to be perfect. Thursday night we typically end up at a local restaurant or the drag strip in Mooresville, Friday night a lot of the guys hit McKoys.
There is a large vintage bike show on 5-3-14 I'm definitely going to hit in Spencer NC at the National Transportation Museum, so far we have about 5-7 guys planning on riding out to that but I'm sure more will go as the date gets closer.
Honestly I spend most of my time on Facebook planning & discussing rides just since most of my riding buddies have different types of bikes, feel free to hit me up on there. Markand Delores Lindley (its for the wife and I, and kinda keeps me incognito at the same time).
Thanks for the info! i'm probably out for week night rides, but mountain rides on the weekends I'm not at the track would be fun. That bike show in Spencer looks neat too!
