Did a ride in the sun yesterday w/o the electrical gremlin raising its ugly head. So with the weather today like this

And pretty as the fields are, the vast majority of the flowers never make into a vase.  

It is the bulb that is cultivated here (you may recall Tulp Mania -greed is good  :cool: -).

So the flower stems are eventually all chopped off
