Does anybody know if a 6th Gen plate can be manufactured to fit either one of these 2 stands?.
My friend has one for his Ducatti, and it is truely effortless to use and very manouverable.

I actually contacted Bursig earlier this month regarding the VFR800 (5&6 Gen) models and they said they have plans on making adapter plates but they did not have a timeline. Maybe if we get enough people interested, and let them know, they might step the pace.
Hey Duc2V4, Thanks for the reply. I got an email back from Black Widow saying they had no plans to make one for the VFR800.
I sent an email to Bursig, but never heard back. I will try them again.
I know it's a different style from what you've mentioned, but I wanted to make sure that you know about Pitbull stands. I use them front and back with my 2003 and couldn't be happier.
I too emailed Bursig after I saw they made an adaptor plate for the RC30. One can hope!
Similar to the 2Bros Header thread, maybe we can get a list of people interested in the Bursig or Black Widow stands and let them know they've got people waiting to buy these stands. Ironically Bursig said they were building an adapter for the older Ducati Super Sports, as I also own a 1995 900SS and inquired about one for this bike as well. Figured the 5 & 6 Gen VFRs would be more abundant and easier to sell them for, but who knows what drives their manufacturing.
As far as the Pit Bull stands, yes they are awesome, I actually have one myself, but they don't allow you to roll the bike around like the Bursig & BW stands.

After reviewing both web sites I know a few things....
1. I need one.
2. Looks like Black Widow knocked off the Bursig design.
3. Should be no problem to develop a VFR mount and just purchase the 1/4 priced Black Widow unit.
4. I would support Bursig and buy their stand if they produced our mount.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Solves so many of the traditional stand issues and when you compare the cost to a front and rear stand it doesn't cost that much more for much greater flexibility.

Very cool stands - I've never seen these. The Bursig seems way over priced (the adapter plate alone is $149 from them?) while the other's pricing is almost too good to be true. So good that it's probably made in China. While they might be fine, I'd be more comfortable if I could see some reviews from an end user. With the casters these would be great for off season storage - no more rushing to get the bike back on its feet so the car can come back in the garage - just roll it out of the way. Nice!

To me, it looks like the BW stand vs the Bursig stand is like the Harbor Freight tire changer (BW) vs the Nomar tire changer (Bursig), at least in the pictures and video. I'm sure they both do the job but I suspect the BW might be slightly less sturdy, again it looks that way to me,
I've seen the Bursig in action on a friends Ducati. You can wheel the bike around by your fingertips. I don't mind paying the money, but ffs why wouldn't they make a VFR adaptor. I wouldn't want to wake up finding my bike in parts from some cheap knock off stand. Just my opinion.
Just a quick update, I received this reply from Bursig in February 2015:
"We've had several inquiries for the same bike over the last year and BURSIG in Germany is desperately trying to get their hands on a VFR 800 in order to come up with an adapter plate.
As soon as they have an update you will be the first to know!"

ConStands out of the UK seem to be priced in between. Little different stand design and a whole lot more models available. Being in the UK, I'm suprised they're not showing a VFR800, but they might be convinced to have one quickly also.
And it folds!

What about ABBA stands? Another great British company. Their Skylift stand looks amazing. I have one of their Superbike stands and it works really well. This will be my next purchase when funds allow.

That's pretty darn cool... I like how easy it would be to tilt the bike and have good access to the bottom.
A different take on a parking dolly: I have the Park N Move: http://www.legalspee...om/products.htm My garage is crowded and this allows me to nimbly maneuver the VFR quickly into a tight corner after a ride.
It works well but you need a centerstand on your bike. The only challenge I have with it is that it really takes gorilla strength to lift the VFR onto it's centerstand on the park N Move.
