G'day Fellas,
I installed a Vfrness on my 5th gen and love the concept, build quality and breakdown prevention.
Now I've started work on my vfr400/nc30, which suffers from the same poor electrical design as the 5th gen.
I would like some advice on wether this would work
I've got a new mosfet regulator (fitted with sensor wire that goes to positive on battery)
All new connectors and terminals.
I've changed the stator and plugging it straight into the regulator.
I want to run the positive wire from the regulator into 2 wires, one goes to the original harness, the second a direct fused wire to the positive side of the battery.
I'll also run a earth cable from the regulator mounting bolts to the earth on the battery to get a better earth.
The solenoid and Honda's dreaded red fuse box are also being replaced.
Anybody see a problem with this?
