Went looking for for fall foliage, colors are just getting started, unless you mean green :wink: Found some nice curvy backroads, a little moist though.

Had to get out before the rain sets in, 45 degrees and a penetrating fog greeted the start of the day though, brrr :ohmy:

Not much time for sightseeing...setting up for the trade show on Thursday and the show is Fri-Sun and I am out on Monday.

Will have to sample some local brews downtown though.

Really nice pictures. I always love the VFR with the yellow fall background.

The back road looks wet, so not much fun cornering though, but you can slow down for great pix.

There's some dry roads around. Just have to head east into the high desert.

Word of advice to newbees, while I always use 100% or 80- 20% Front-Rear braking, when coming up to a stop (like from 10 mph down to 0) on a road with lots of wet leaves, I recommend 100% rear braking (esp with the VFR's brake linking), as the front end will drop faster than you can say oh sh**! as it really likes to lock up, even with the slightest front brake pressure.

Yours has ABS, right?

The brightest fall color on the old highway is the yellow stripe through the shades of green :laugh:

You know you're on the dry side of the Cascades when you have rusty browns instead of mossy greens, but the roads aren't too shabby

Yes, but I doubt ABS helps much in that last 10 mph to 0 mph phase of stopping.

Went from Redmond to Leavenworth on Sunday, tree colors were excellent on the east side of Stevens Pass. Kinda wet now though.
