Aftermarket Tool Box

Was wondering if any of you knew of such a thing. Like a tool box/tray that would go under the seat and rear fender?

Must have gotten too used to your e30.. lol.

Does your 5th gen not have a tool bag with it? You can still find them but they're super pricey imo.

haha I must of. There was this guy on ebay selling this thing that he claimed was a mini tool box that could fit under the seat. There was even white marker scribbled on it saying 98' vfr800!!!!!  :wink:  


edit: found it. He isnt sure if it'll fit.

Mine didn't come with the tool kit but I guess thats one thing to source.

Huh, never seen that before. As for the OEM toolkit, I would recommend looking at the parts fiche for what it contains and then cobble together your own.

Many moons ago, my SpousalUnit made me a new toolroll to replace the standard fragile plastic one, and this has extra spaces for a few extra tools. It's also a bit more flxible than the OEM one, so it fits nicely under the seat, along with a disclock, accessory fusebox, extension accessory plug (for use with electric tyre pump, or whatever).
