They will take care of the rebate for you.

Not to mention their tires are usually cheaper.

I just went to the link above this one... That place is crazy on their prices.

#5

americanmototire usually has better prices.  Been using them for years with no issues.

I was gonna pickup another set of 003's but guess I'm out of luck.  Their new replacement...RS10's are only available in 190 and 200.

Eligible Tires Listed Below...

Jake Wilson has consistently great tire prices and good prices on maintenance items like oil. I buy everything from them and I get enough cash back to get my oil for free (essentially) I may actually reach platinum status this year which is somewhat embarrassing. T-30 Evo Rears with S-20 Evo fronts is my new favorite combo.

Some people will also mention Rocky Mountain ATV for great tire prices, it's owned by the same company that owns Jake Wilson BTW, just an FYI.
#10
I just did a quick compare with ATM and JW, and JW was $3 cheaper on the Pilot Power 3, per tire. Splitting hairs but worth a mention. I should have compared the Bridgestones but the PP3 is my tire choice.

S20 Evo is only $86. Think I am gonna try one with the T30GT rear.

Yep... I am Platinum with JakeWilson.com. A set of these will get me 50.00 back and a 50.00 Visa.

And they offer free shipping.

And they do the rebate form for me.

But then to get Platinum, I buy way too many tires.

Well worth it though to share my savings with other riders.

The difference maker is Jake Wilson has cash back. $50 back after your first $1,000 and then $50 every $500 you spend up to $2,500 and then $50 back for every $333 you spend up to $3,000 and then $50 back every $250 you spend from there. It runs for year long cycles so I stock up on next years tires just before it expires to take advantage of the $50 rebate for every $250 spent when/if I get over $3K. Buy 4 sets of tires and get the 5th set free basically. Every other year I should have a surplus of tires but I will never get less than $200 cash back unless I stop buying tires and oil from them.

My budget is $3.5K for tires and $500 for oil. Should do over 30K miles this year (I pay for The Girl's stuff too and she will do over 20K). Oil will be free this year.

Checked out the JW loyalty program and it looks like a good perk. If I understand correctly, your account balance begins to accumulate at the beginning of each calendar year. I have already purchased several sets of tires this year, so I should definitely consider using them starting 1/1/16 to get to the highest level of rebate next year.
#15

If you are changing tires for friends, it really works out in your favor.

Since you are limited to two rebates, I would buy tires for neighbors and ship the tires to their address so they can get the Dunlop or Bridgestone rebate card.

Then I get the JakeWilson.com cash back.

We all win.

#16

I have used JW with great success before and plan to again for the next tire purchase.

Though my yearly mileage and Keb's yearly tire budget reflect similar numbers.  :goofy:

Keb, who has that combo with the killer prices?  I can't find the T30 Evo rear at any of these online places.

The T30evo is not available in the 190 size. You need the GT.

Ah, have to stick with the regular T30 then on the rear :(

I haven't run a GT spec on the rear of the 1200 yet.  So far just opting for the normal spec rear so that I can run it on the R1 or VFR.

#22
The GT adds an additional sidewall belt. If you are not loading up the 1200 then you should be ok. I have run both versions on the 1200 and really didn't notice any difference. No noticeable sidewall flex with either one. However, I have seen the GT actually priced lower at times and the tire build dates have been reported to be more recent than the regular T30's.

Hell...I don't know...I just order, install and let-er-eat.

Never a pillion.  I'd remove the pegs if they weren't necessary for the luggage.  Even then, when I travel, I travel light.  But thanks for the intel, mucho appreciated.

#24

I ordered a set of RS10's 180/55/17 & 120/70/17 through local Honda dealer today $251.00 with price match - $50.00 rebate = $201.00, will be in next week. Will post a ride report.

#25

That is not bad. I would have done 220.00 installed.

What are they charging you to mount the tires?

#26

Thank You gloryracing!

I just bought a pair of Bridgestone S-20's about 2 1/2 weeks ago and spooned them on. A trip down to the Skyline and back up to Lake Champlain and a few miles in W. Maine quickly put 3K on them.

I'm off back to work on the ship but will have a new pair in the garage when I get back in Sept. :)

I'm still due (badly at this point) for some tires, I may have to try your recommendation at these prices instead of the conti set I was planning!

I suspect you will enjoy the T30 or S20 more than the Conti's...Especially at these prices.

Just ordered keb's combo from JW.
214 shipped.
Is there still a rebate? Or is it already figured into the price?

Wendy from Jake Wilson will email you with a link to their registration form. Keep your order email or get the order number off the tire invoice when it arrives or get the order number from your online history data on the Jake Wilson website. I always buy two sets since there is a 2 set limit per household and I order them 1 day apart but I always get one gift card for $100.

Just ordered the Keb Combo, $225 shipped from JW. First time ordering from there too. The Conti combo I was looking at was around $360 for both, almost tempted to order two sets, lol.

Thanks KEB.

I did just that - Ordered two sets of tires one day apart.

Both are under way.

#35

Any particular reason you order them 1 day apart? I ordered 2 sets but did them at the same time.

Yes!

I ordered the first one and then received the rebate email from JW.

I then realized that I actually need two sets and that each set will cost me just over $150 with the rebate.

Just couldn't say No.

BTW, I just received the first set.

Major props to JakeWilson for great service.

#37

I have both sets of tires and both rebates are processed. I have 6 sets of spare tires right now. Tired up for the summer.
