Compared to stock, how much pressure do the bar risers and low seat combination remove from your wrists?  I have a 5th gen now, and am strongly considering moving to a new 8th gen, but I have developed a problem with my hands where it becomes very painful if there is any stress on them.  Can anyone give me a good comparison between stock and riser/ low seat combo?  I may have to (sadly) consider a more upright bike.

Thanks!

I put the Honda risers on my 2014 and it is exceedingly comfortable. I am 5'10"

BTW, I'm 5'6"   I'm thinking the lower seat setting combined with the risers will take some of the pressure off my hands.

If there is a lot of pressure on the wrists, you don't have enough body tension. The weight should be on the abdominal and back muscles.

I bought my bike (6th gen) with risers and what seems to be a shaved seat. I am 5'7" and it fits me perfectly. No wrist pain and all day comfort.
