Thurn Motorsports Led Taillight

I was looking on eBay for parts and found this.

A chap on the RC36 group on Facebook has fitted this, it looks very trick.  I'm tempted myself but it's not cheap.

It is an auction. If I don't get it I am going to look into getting a spare taillight and retrofit it with an LED board.

I'm betting they are just seeing how much people will pay. I don't see it on their website.

You can order these parts directly from him (his is not a mega sized company); I know he spend a lot of time getting this product produced to a standard he is satisfied with.

The price of the LED taillight section (clear or smoked) is Euro 79 when ordered direct (excl shipping of course)

The front LED indicators (clear or smoked) have not arrived yet so Gerhard is holding off communicating; he wants to be satisfied with the product before offering.

Note that they sell with either orange bulbs or metalized silver (so you donot see the bulb shining through when off)

Thurn has extensive experience in shipping WW and (I believe) some bad experiences with Ebay buyers playing the system.

It looks great! I have his clear indicators on one of my 4th Gens, they're great quality. Might have to invest in one of these, someday...

I did get the taillight. I have no choice but to get the turn signals now. I took a quick video of it while I had my bike running for a bit, it was 10 degrees out. Now that I have a built in plate light I need to tuck my plate a bit more.

Yeah that looks awesome. I cheaped out and put a whelen t3 on my 96 for now just for the brake lights though. Markers are still not great... I just got a MRA screen from Thurn recently though and he was great to deal with. If i do end up wanting the tails i'd have no problem going through him again, he was great.

Here it is on flash mode to show how bright it is from certain angles. I've got it point so that it isn't too bad unless you get pretty close to me. It is the same light model that cops use.
