I've found a VFR750 that is in need of a new left fairing. How to I go about finding a replacement? Where? Even worth the effort? What are the hopes of a new gas tank? Seriously, don't laugh.

You can buy a new mid fairing for $424 off of partzilla.com. Tank runs $851 but I have seen them on eBay cheaper.
Thurn motorsport is your best bet.
That fairing is repairable, and with the cost of even used panels for 4th Gens these days you might find it worth the effort to get a quote on it.
Tank is a bit harder, but again, repairable - and if you're getting paint matched for the fairing... in my experience a used tank is a lot easier to find than decent used panels.
FWIW Airtech makes fiberglass replacements... never used them, myself, but they could be one of those "better than nothing" deals.
That fairing is certainly repairable. Find a good place in your area that does plastic repairs and they'll make a good job of that. The tank could be repaired as well I reckon.

Just saw these in the classified section here on VFRD. Might be worth sending the poster a message.

Depends on how much you love your bike
I love my '97 so much I was willing to spend a grand on some good condition fairings, ended up finding a 32 mile '94 with mint fairings for a little bit more. Maybe looking for another vfr to put in the garage might be cheaper than looking for fairings ;)
