Givi V35 Cases

I just installed Givi V35 cases. I plan on leaving them on for daily use. My concern is are they staying in place at triple digit speed? I would hate to have one blow off,that wouldn't be good for obvious reasons. Any feed back from experience would be appreciated. Thanks

Not going to say how fast I went on public forum, but I have no problem with my V35s on the VFR1200 at speed. DO make sure both clips click on solidly, though. I have heard of folks with Monokey side case popping loose because of it.

Living in Nevada, one has plenty of opportunity to travel at relatively high speed. I've had no problem, however, I would consider the potential for unpleasant aerodynamic effects over 125 mph.

If they are fastened on properly they are not coming off. Even with really high speed or exceptionally bumpy roads on gravel, I've never had them move one iota.

Excellent news. That's piece of mind,when the need arises to hit triple digits. Thanks

On a side note i wired in my own led running and brake lights. More for a safety aspect.

Extra light makes a big difference for visibility. I put Admore led lighting in my top case and it's at eye level for drivers. A bit of added security that drivers can see you signal and brake.

I've seen an indicated 150mph once (no, really, I did!) with my V35's loaded for a week of travel with no ill effects. I routinely approach triple digit figures with V35's empty and all is well.

V35s will be fine. I saw an indicated 153 mph in Nevada with JCWhitney knock off bags with no problems.

Crossing a Nevada desert with a 15 mi. horizon of straight road, I saw 140 mph at which point the wind resistance from a front quartering breeze started to make things a little harry. So I backed off. I had the super large 41L bags.

I echo the above. 130+ many times with them - it's more the aero than the worry that they'll fall off.

Thanks Everybody,that's piece of mind. These 1200's accelerate so quick,we hit triple digits without even trying.Lol....
