All 26- Returning Rider: VFR 800 or 1200? I currently own a vfr1200. The performance is simply amazing. Acceleration and braking are outstanding. At 50 years old I thought i would be able to behave with this much performance. I've always ridden big bore sport…
- Givi V35 Cases Thanks Everybody, that's piece of mind. These 1200's accelerate so quick,we hit triple digits without even trying.Lol....
- Impressions Of The Vfr After 1000 Miles I have the Knight pegs on my 1200. Very nice product, and makes a big difference in comfort. I highly recommend them
- Givi V35 Cases Excellent news. That's piece of mind, when the need arises to hit triple digits. Thanks On a side note i wired in my own led running and brake lights. More for a safety aspect.
- Givi V35 Cases I just installed Givi V35 cases. I plan on leaving them on for daily use. My concern is are they staying in place at triple digit speed? I would hate to have one blow off, that wouldn't be good for obvious reasons. Any…
- Saddlemen Seat Kits Anyone Have Experience With Em? Mine was glued at the dish of the seat from Saddleman. It seemed to help on the install. I also sprayed adhesive on the foam at let it cure overnight before any staples. It turned out wrinkle free.So far I'm pleased with…
- Saddlemen Seat Kits Anyone Have Experience With Em? I ordered mine over the winter. Looks to be very good quality, but no seat time yet. Still winter here in Manitoba.
- Big H Issued A Recall On Vfr1200F And Vfr1200X Re:drive-Shafts My dealer in Manitoba Canada was notified of the recall. Since its -40c here with snow on the ground,I'm not in a big hurry. The dealer did tell that when I receive the letter from Honda Canada,to bring it to them, and…
- Big H Issued A Recall On Vfr1200F And Vfr1200X Re:drive-Shafts I dont have a problem with any manufacturer having a recall. To me the company, weather its automotive, bikes or coffee makers,is admitting to a defect. To many times manufacturers hide a defect, and some have serious…
- Resonator Removal? I would think, without the "bottles",the airflow would be smoother. Some what of airbox porting. But as hrvdave has said,no noticeable different. With the mods on his bike it should improve things,if there is any gain to…
- She's In My Garage! Very sharp. Really like the titanium. Ride safe
- No 2015 Vfr 1200? Nice bike tin. I like the stealth look.Very sharp
- How to remove power limitations 1st and 2nd gear Oh,oh.Honda designed a clutch system,on the edge of destruction with added power.Highly unlikely. If you added nitrous or launched your dct hard continuously, i could see quicker clutch wear. Reflash,pipe,K/N filter,…
- Winter Mods I live 25 miles north of portage and main. Your right, screaming cold in the winter, and mosquitoes that would carry away a small dog in the summer.Lol.
- Winter Mods Installed a heater in the garage. Favouritest mod yet! I hear ya. A heater is a must when wrenching in Canada during the winter
- Winter Mods Bought a set of carbon fiber fairing from german FF Carbon - price was fair however, you still need to carve a few things which Im not happy with. The fact they do not respond my email makes me a bit angry... Sent my…
- Winter Mods So far I have lower foot pegs. Powdercoated some parts. Next is Guhl reflash, pair block and Decat of the exaust. Can't wait for spring. Winter in Canada is long and cold,so I need some projects to get me through.I'll…
- Flash Ecu Vfr1200 Conclusion... Please Only Experience From People Who Have Theire 1200Ecu Flashed, No Speculations Only Facts! The funny thing about the ecu reflash is my non flashed, bike runs good with a pipe and k+n filter. But I feel like I'm missing out on better performance.I don't seem to have the stumbling problems some owners are…
- Guhl Motors Ecu Flashing Discussion Topic. Don't need anymore convincing. There is ample evidence from everyone who has had this done that they are happy with their outcome. Bike now stored for winter, ECU will be extracted and sent to Don by next week .... and…
- Shipping A Ecu I live outside of Winnipeg.I also have a parcel company I could use.But I don't want the hours of driving.
- Shipping A Ecu Thanks,I'll do more research into this.I'd like to get it done
- Lsl Risers With Rox I have the same bar set up. I like the idea of a little higher bar.Good idea.
- Shipping A Ecu I talked to Don about reflashing my ecu.The issue is customs at the border will tack on a a fee that is not cheap. Any one else had this experience sending your ecu to the U.S and back to Canada. I could drive to the…
- Delkevic 9" I just put the same pipe on my VFR1200 except the 14". Very nice pipe.Deep rumble at idle, and growls at higher rpm. Comes with a db silencer if needed, but I run it without.I'd recommend this pipe for any bike.
- Vfr Photo Shoot Very nice. I like the flames and detail.
- Anybody Else Regret Buying Their Vfr1200? I love my 1200 dct. Everything about it. Power, handling, braking and the looks. I'm getting close to 50 years old,and I still get the rush out of a hi-performance bike. Excellent machine in my opinion!
