I am new to the forum and I did not find any part numbers for a solo seat. Anyone know what the part number of the solo seat? I have a 1999 vfr800fi.

This is from Honda fiche at Powersports Company in Wisconsin:

BTW: Welcome to the asylum from near the geographical center of North America.

As a new member you are traditionally expected to provide a picture of your machine so we know you are not a figment of our imagination.

I'm semi-amazed that those are still available after 15 years. Anything bodywork related for an earlier gen is pretty much ebay hunting now. I hope the 5 gen pieces hold out for a good long time!

I'm thinking about stocking up. Or I could "refinish" all the rashed-up fairings I've accumulated in 150,000 miles of fifth gen riding.

That cowl is going to fight with the Givi rack. :(

Lookin' very San Franciscoey there...

Ciao,

You will probably have to notch holes in the cowl to fit around the rack.

#9

Look for a Corbin Smuggler.

I hate Corbin customer service, but I do like that Smuggler set up.

I have the exact same GIVI rack, cowl will fit over rack, no notching needed.

#11

Sargent seat and cowl is a good single seat option.

That high mount can sure looks great, along with the black pegs. Must sound like a gazillion bucks also. :fing02:

I do love mine. And my butt has no natural padding; it's a bag of bones. Yet my butt can handle all-day rides.

I dont, and dont use the the givi often, but the rack has only a very thin piece of metal that sits between the cowls, fits on without any issue, promise.
