hey every one I am looking for someone that will be needing a tire on their 8th gen to do some measurements for me. this is for the front wheel
what I am looking for is rotor mounts.
axle length
axle spacers they are both the same size
space between the forks inside to inside.
and hub of the wheel width.
looking to see what's involved in mounting this to the 6 gen. already got the rear to work, now need the matching front.
if you can thing of any other specs I might need go ahead and post them.
Disc mounting is same 5 bolt fixing as VFR1200 but cannot remember PCD. I can check if you need. But those are the only 2 Hondas with that mounting so no great choice of discs. The 800's are 310 and the 1200's are 320mm.
For width is 204mm, same as latest CBR1000RR and many 600s.
To fit the later front wheel I'm sure is possible although you would probably need spacers made to suit, but that's a very easy job - unless you can find something suitable ready made. Disc spacing might be an issue, but that would depend on what calipers you intend using on what forks. Discs can always be made wider, just with a spacer, but hard to make them narrower.
