In Government there is never a good deed that doesn't go unpunished so
of course I was holding my breath when the CHP posted those guidelines
because I feared that someone would note their action was unauthorized
and force them to quit... So now if we push Bill 51 onto the
legislature I'm afraid our common sense action may generate more
politicians against it than for it and they may feel the need to
settle the whole mess once and for all by passing a anti lane sharing
law... I think its best to walk away from the halls of legislature and
quietly return to enjoying this privilege since no law exist against
it and the masses aren't too wise about it...
That Genie is slowly coming out of the bottle and I too fear that there may be more nah Sayers than two wheel riders to be counted.
please don't let them take it away... ugh, one of the best things about being a rider in CA and commuting!

“It would be good to have some kind of structure,” said Larry Lovisone, who has been riding for 50 years. “Every time I'm stopped by
CHP, they have a different idea of lane splitting.”
Nice, but the rider with the camera on his bike looks like he has a weeping right fork seal.
Oh yeah, good job Larry!
