Two weeks ago a saw a KR200 driving by. Fun little car and there were quite a few models like it build in the previous century. I don't think this elio is a big step forward compared to those three wheelers.
Definitely not a big step forward. I just have so much trouble figuring out how they plan on actually selling this car for $6800 and make a profit. Heck, when was the last time you saw a new full sized motorcycle selling for $6800?
Could it be a non (small) profit motive to change the face of solo transportation? A trick to pull off for sure. I do recall when the Honda Fit was new, they were listed under $13k locally not too many years ago. Interesting how Elio is pulling other corps into the engine supply and support network i.e. Pep Boys, etc.
