Gents,

front right hand pipe is loose around the metal corner pipe coming from the oil cooler radiator. Need to know best way to fix, if it just a replacement hose can you suggest the best places to order one. Or if a jubilee clip will suffice.

Attached a photo for more detail,

Which bit do you think is loose ? The pipes are solid & that is only a protective rubber cover. The problem with those is the rubber traps moisture & rots the pipe, that pipe looks like its leaking, its a known fault, Honda did issue a recall on the 6th gen for that, but I can't remember which years.

I'm sure someone else will chime in with details.

If those tubes are anything like the price of the same for the 5th gen, then don't be shocked at paying over £100 for a new part. Per side.

I think it's just the rubber hose that's loose - the metal pipes are fine but it's then finding a new hose replacement

Oh, if it's just a rubber hose, try a local hydraulics place. They can usually do the right hose, to the right spec for a good price, all fitted to the pipe and ready.

Honda OEMs are silly expensive about £140 each side, I just wanted to replace mine as they are corroded to hell. Manger to get some on France Ebay for £16 for the pair and a tenner postage, they are not perfect but a 100 times better condition than mine. Barring that find a comopany called Pirtek they will make up new ones with braided hose and fit your fittings for about £65.00.

If you fit replacements, then strip the so called "protective" rubber skins off, they just hold moisture & encourage rust !  If you do a search I did a how to replace your hoses with braided hoses for the 5th Gen, but same process with longer hoses could be used on the 6th gen.
