Just got a 98', decided on a vfr after stumbling onto them on the net and building up interest in one due to all the positive info I had read. Was looking for something to run the 401 hwy to work, around town and little runs, it sounded like the perfect all around bike. After only a few days I am in love with the way it runs, totally stock except riser bars. Over the yrs I've had a 650 yammy twin (bought new in 1981) and a 750 Katana, I have not rode in 15 yrs though. I like to do most of my own fix it stuff so I may have a few q's later. This is a great site and info resource!!

Ps. No pics yet :)

Welcome Aboard! I'm sure you'll find it an awesome bike. Go to the downloads section of the forum and grab the Honda Service Manual, I'm sure you'll find it very helpful for your DIY servicing.

Welcome aboard from south Mississauga. The 5th's are nice bikes and other than the connector craziness going on under the air box, the are generally easy to work with.
