I would like to have a SebSpeed modified cover, however, I am not willing to send in my original crankcase cover and not be able to ride [while the modification is being completed] or revert to stock at a later date. Therefore, I am seeking a donor case to acquire.

I have not found a case from a 1994 - 1997 VFR750F [my bike is a 1994]. However, it may be that other model year covers may fit. I found this item, HONDA VFR750 RC24 FJ/K CLUTCH ENGINE COVER CASING, on the UK eBay site which visually looks like the cover on my bike but I can't find a model number for it.

On the other hand I was able to find a model number for the gasket that mates to the above part. That gasket number is: 11394-MY7-000. Partzilla shows that gasket is used for the cover on my bike. So, does anyone know if the HONDA VFR750 RC24 FJ/K CLUTCH ENGINE COVER CASING will fit my 1994 VFR750F?

the rc24 F/J/k means the 88-89 model

Look at this fiche

http://www.bike-parts-honda.com/pieces-honda-detail-4656-13ML7G41-VFR750FJ-1988-E__0400-VFR+750.html

and if you click on the partnumber for the cover you see the years

http://www.bike-parts-honda.com/microfiches-recherche_piece-11330-ML7-920.html

The oil filler hole is in the middle; it stayed like this up until

from 1990 onwards, the hole moved left (just as on your rc36-2 1994-1997)

http://www.bike-parts-honda.com/pieces-honda-detail-4681-13MT4L41-VFR750FL-1990-E__0400-VFR+750.html

So while the gasket may fir, I'm not sure if "the internal" will clear the cover.....

Dutch breakers list the cover:

https://www.motorparts-online.com/en/honda/vfr-750/1994-1997/crankcase-cover-clutch-side?m=2&s=27

Not sure if you like the price/shipping.

Shipping in NL is 6,95; uninsred bais to the US 18 euro

It is a must have mod though.....

@Dutchy

Thanks for the quick and through response. I totally get that there are two different styles of covers: one with the oil filler in the middle and one with the hold towards the left. What is confusing is that the picture of the part in the listing I posted is to the left as if it were a part that could fit my bike. However, the title describes the item as coming off of a rc24 F/J/K which should have the hole in the middle.

Thanks for the new links I didn't have those or find them when I did my search. I am a little surprised that the shipping cost to the US is 56 euros! That almost triples the cost of the part. But given that I can't find one locally, it may become an option.

If the dutch breaker charges 54 euro shipping, that is crazy.

Ask them to ship regular "PostNL"

Or else pm me and i eill see if i can help (plenty time on my hand, the one that is not in a cast :-) )
