We are going to hit the Palomar area again this Sunday to "break in" thepretender's 6th Generation VFR800.

The plan is to meet in south OC, ride across Ortega Highway to hook up with I-15 and head towards the mountain.  Lunch will most likely be at the delicious lakeside café across from Lake Henshaw.

When:  Sunday, 9/18

Meeting Location #1:  Starbucks on Ortega Highway in San Juan Capistrano.

Meeting Time #1:  KSU 8:00am.  We want to be rolling by 8 am to avoid too many cars.

Meeting Location #2:  Pala Casino gas station
Meeting Time #2:  9AM
We will be here around 9AM to gas up before heading to Palomar Mountain.  https://goo.gl/maps/z1ocKwc2bJy

The Pace will be spirited but nothing wild and dangerous.  Everyone ride at their own pace.  If you fall behind we will wait for you at junctions.  If you race ahead, then please wait for others at the next junction.  We pass cars when it is safe to do so.

Hope to see some of you there.

Not sure if I can make this one yet, but I'll be there if I can.

I'm an unlikely, and even if I do get to go, I'll only be able to do Palomar and lunch.  I'd love to do the whole ride, as I should have my new exhaust mounted up by Saturday.

Man. Look at you guys posting up awesome rides.

Wish I could make it. I am in BigSur this week vacationing with my wife. From here I ride solo up to Santa Cruz for some riding with friends there all weekend.

Damn, just when it was looking like I was going to make it, I've been struck by the stomach bug.

Have fun.

Hopefully it isn't the stomach flu. I had that a few years in a row, and always around my birthday too! Never a fun time with stomach ailments. Hope you feel better soon.

Great ride!  It started out cold then it got hot REAL fast!  But it was dry heat so it wasn't too bad.  The coast ride home was nice and cool.    Newly converted into the VFR club is thepretender!  His "new" 2002 VFR800 looks like new!
