This makes me miss my 4th gen. It was a great bike. I sometimes wonder what became of it . . .

just bought a back issue for this,thanks for posting,a recent new (to me) 1997 VFR owner and keen to find old articles etc to read on these great bikes

Nice read. I put my 1997 vfr for sale last month but really thought about what I would be missing. Figured I would keep it for now and try to find some risers for the bars.
