750 CLUTCH SLAVE: WILL 800 SLAVE FIT?

Hi there

Just wondering if anyone knows if an early VFR800 clutch slave can be used on RC36's?  The part numbers are different, but that doesn't mean it won't fit and work properly.  Anybody got hands on experience?

It looks like the gasket, bolts and internal parts are all the same. Only the body is different. There's a good chance it will work.

Thanks Rhubarb - yeah, I looked at diagrams and figured it was probably going to work, but then I figured I should do the right thing and just replace the seals etc on the leaky original...

In the process I found out that the RC36/1 shares the slave cylinder with the RC30 while the RC36/2 shares the slave cylinder with the RC45 and the NR. Interesting... at least to a nerd like me :)
