Are Gen's 5 & 6 lug nuts interchangeable? :unsure:

They are not only interchangeable, they are identical, as are the wheels themselves.

Interesting though that the parts #'s are different on PartsZilla.
One must understand what those part numbers are referring to... As the model of motorcycle changes so too does a part of the reference.
Nonetheless, it is known amongst VFRologists that they are identical.

The part numbers for the wheels or of the lug nuts? Part numbers can change due to a paint or finish change, but still fit.

The early nuts (3rd-5th gen) are longer, but the axles/studs are the same. Strange. Maybe the wheel flange thickness is different on the 6th gen? The early nuts should fit all bikes; not sure about the later nuts...

I owned the 5th and 6th gens simultaneously for a couple of years and could swear I had interchanged rear wheels and lug nuts and that there was no difference.
Maybe my memory has gone a little mammary!

It's 108Nm for the 4 wheel mounting bolts.
