Today's minor tasks all failed.

Nothing major, just feeling pretty bummed-out about tasks.

I now have no tank pad at all. The existing one was old and peeling. Will just go for an official honda pad.

> New front parking light bulbs. DOA. Dammit

> New rider foot peg rubbers. Took the current pegs apart only to find that some internal components had rusted to oblivion and need replacing. Now i have duct tape holding it all together. Dammt.
Replacements are About £25 including tax and shipping. Guess i'll just order a fully assembled set -new- from ebay for £20 all-inclusive, then.

Iirc, your VFR800 still had the big, squidgy rubber pad on the footpeg. I substituted a set of CBR600 F4 pegs on my '99 ages ago. That same style was standard on the VTec series.

The firmer rubber pad was just as good at reducing vibration, but felt firmer under foot. Plus they look a hell of a lot better.

Man, along with the pegs, pad and carbon heel guards, AND a nice new snap-on die-grinder at work.. my poor wallet.

I swapped my footpegs from my '14 blade (no rubber and better grip) and then got cheap blackies $11 Aus for the blade.

As far as tank pad have u looked at st1300 OEM , bit pricey but but far better 

Yeah, i did consider that pad, but the one i ordered does the job and looks nice, too.

LED what? Parking light? Nope. Back to a bulb as LEDs keep burning out.

Managed to get a full refund on the carbon tank shield, and they didn't want it back. Off that goes to the ebay room at work, then... It can keep my stock exhaust, MRA screen and part-worn BT021s company.
