Has anyone taken out the threaded rod on the rear brake master cylinder? It attaches to the turn buckle. Just thought I could take it out to cut it for the lowering blocks. Or replace it just in case I screw things up. Just a thought.

They will be the same design on most bikes.

I guess my question is can it be removed or is it part of the master cylinder itself.
I hope have just done the seals on my Gen 6, the rod is held into the MC by a circlip. Removing the circlip also releases the piston meaning a drake fill and bleed on refitting.
