Retro Paint Job

This is the plan.  It should be done next month.  I have an eight spoker for the rear.

Here is one i have saved that is rc30 style panted with 4 colors instead of 3. I'm looking forward to how yours turns out, love RWB myself as can be seen by all the money i'm dumping into my 86 :D

Beautiful job.  Like the thin lines between the colors.  Very nice detail.  You mean 96....not 86.  Right?  

Did you you paint or powdercoat the wheels?

Oh that bike isn't mine just some random one I found while researching stuff for my stock looking red 96. I also have a red white and blue 86 though.

I think I've seen the thread on this bike.  I love his vision and execution right until I get to the seat cowl.  The blue to red transition and the termination of the pinstripe behind the seat is odd to me.  But it is still a beauty.

It just needs a numberplate.  Sorted!

Actually JZH, you hit the nail on the head.  The paint design is close copy of a Two Brothers Team RC30 that Freddie Spencer rode in the in 1989.

Great job making it your take on that scheme and making it work with the bodywork.  Just a really nice job.  Wish I could see it in person.

I can never get enough of the RWB schemes. I actually bought a white helmet in hopes of making it rwb to match my 86 with some vinyl, we'll see how it goes...
