VTR1000F front wheel compatability

Anyone happen to know whether a '98 VTR1000F front wheel would be fit an RC36-1 without any modification?

As I have one of those in the garage, let me know what measurements you need. I think the disc spacing will be the most critical. 

The disc spacing is 134mm measured from the outside faces of the disc. Disc diameter is 296mm. I don't have any easy way to measure the axle without disassembly, sorry.

Hi Terry, thanks for the info... I have no idea what the disc spacing is on my VFR, but as you say, it is probably the most critical thing to consider.  the 296mm diameter sounds familiar, so hopefully the spacing is the same, too.  Thinking about using it to upgrade the RC36/1 to floating discs... or maybe fit it to the RC30 to save the original discs and wheel from wear and tear.  I've heard they are almost a straight swap into the RC30... but haven't quite established what it is that stops it being completely compatible.

Will post another topic and see if someone can tell me what spacing the RC36 discs are.
