Is it possible to swap an 06+ ECU into an 02-05, and if so would it lower the VTEC engagement?

Different fuel injectors. Maybe different fuel pump. Maybe different connectors etc.

The connectors are different. Confirmed with Don Guhl when I had the 03.

Not (economically) viable. Not impossible but just stupid expensive and timely compared to just selling your current ride and procuring an '06-on one.
Different connectors and different wiring loom, different mechanical bits, probably need the newer motor as well. Not worth going down that path; take route mentioned in previous paragraph.

Maybe there are differences in the 06-onward? Not sure
Well damn, thanks anyways guys but I think I'll just suck it up and enjoy the VTEC where it is.
