What could be wrong..,they only go on one way, right?
Took a second look at mine, I noticed the other side has a beveled edge to blend into handlebars and bottom is flat, so check yours. Just flip them
This is what mine looks like.
Here's what mine look like. Bevel is up and fits flush.
