There was a thread on here posted about two weeks ago (by me) asking whether I should spend money rebuilding a 5th gen motor with seized gearbox.
It seems to have vanished. Was it removed by mods or has it fallen through the digital cracks?
Wanted to reference some opinions posted by members. Where has it gone?

I know that the site had to be restored from a backup the other day when it was down. A small amount of the most recent activity was lost because of this ( I think), FYI.
I never saw the thread but I would just get another engine/trans, maybe make the best of both if you are feeling game. I wonder what it'd cost to get a powerplant from Japan?

Are they even available? They rolled off the production line 20 years ago..,
I meant a used one from a wrecker or similar, if you had to order one in. You probably have JDM importers in the UK getting shipping containers from Japan regularly.
Whats up with the gearbox ? Generally pretty bullet proof on these.
