Very nice, but why wouldn't they have the tail cowl on for these shots?

I find it hard enough keeping the black wheels reasonably clean. 😎

#4

I like it! So what color do you think the panniers will be, white? With graphics?

#5

Interesting - From the word going around earlier this year was that Honda was discontinuing both VFR800 and 1200, I had this confirmed by Honda Australia, and what was to be a replacement? No answer!!!!!

Is the above real flesh and blood or simply an artist impression, smoke and mirrors????????

#6

Your’e guess is as good as mine, the action shot looks genuine to my untrained eye?

#7

The end of an era colours?

I like these graphics a lot better...

So much, I'm contemplating this scheme for my RC51...  :wheel:

Do it. Totally.  That would be a great scheme for an RC51.

#12

Interesting.  Intriguing that they kept the bronze engine covers with that scheme...

I also love that scheme. But I still think it needs a tounge.

Tounge??

For now...

I like it, reminds me of the Rothmans Honda colours years ago [image: emoji1362.png]
Maybe it’s supposed to be ?

Not really very close to Rothmans.  Obviously, there's the Japanese flag thing, but beyond that I really don't get this scheme.  No resemblance to any factory racer I've seen, either, so, eh?

Yeah I guess you’re right, similar styling but not the same

It's just a throwback to the original VFRs of the 1980s. RWB are Honda racing colors.

I  agree on both counts.

They didn’t on the original brochures from memory.

Oops, I was referring to the one Dutchy posted.  But this one is close to the original US-spec RC24 paint sheme.

I'm in love with the NSR250 Rothmans.  MC21 or MC28--I'm easy.  But it's absolutely everything a 90's era coffin nails race rep paint scheme should be--and on a nasty two-stroke, too.  Gotta have one!

Ciao,

JZH
