Gear Neutral Issue

Hi, i m currently having issue with gear going to neutral when it changing to lower gear. I was told that the issue lies on the gear reduction by Honda service center. Does anyone have this issue before and does changing the gear ratio sensors require MCU or any resets that can only be done by Honda service center?

The part # that i need to change as followed:

31300-KVZ-631MOTOR, RATIO CONTROL (Honda)

38800-MGE-D01SENSOR (350DEGREE) (Honda)

What bike are you asking about? I don't think those are vfr part numbers.

If you are talking about a vfr, change the oil and see if that makes any difference before bending over for a dealer.
