Okay, 1st. WTF is going on with the site? Or is it just me?

Anyway. I made some cover plates to block of that PAIR thing. That way I can get rid of the hardware. I used the piece in the front as a template. That oughta drop a little weight.

The long piece in the front is what I made these out of.  Took about 2 hours of grinding to get them to shape.

well, either my PC or the site is not happy.  I'll post the rest when thing seem to be working.

You guys are bastages  :goof:
Okay...here's more.
I took my brake pistons out so I could clean everything, so I polished them up real nice on my buffing wheel.  This way they'll seal up as good as possible and maybe provide marginally better performance.
I likes having good brakes.  This is a clean one and a dirty one together.

Are you saying we are the Bastage Brothers?

I coudln't get the pitting out, and I didn't want to remove too much matierial.  So here are the same two, but both clean now.  BIG difference.  They get really hot too.
Behind them is the polishing compound I used.

Especially you Hurricane  :D
I call this one BLING!!
For obvious reasons.
#12
These are my new tasty treat.  I can't wait to put these on, which I'm doing today after work.
I also got the front discs cleaned of fork oil, and cleaned the front wheel up so it would be nice and shiny for about 10 minutes.

Apparently the guy doing my paint JUST ordered Honda Black for my bike, so he thinks it'll be 2 weeks until he's done.  I'm waiting on the stickers I ordered from Ebay to show up so he can put them on under the cleacoat.

"RISE UP GATHER 'ROUND, ROCK THIS PLACE TO THE GROUND..."

Sorry, I was channeling my seat cover.

I'm pretty sure in my first post, the first picture's first comment said that I was NOT keeping the seat cover.  So shaming is not necessary.  Of course, now I"m going ot have to just to piss you guys off.

I'd show up for a Bastage Mother concert.

i dont know if a contrabass is invisible?.....i know a large mouth bass is green with a "large mouth"

apparently I'm the only ex-band geek here.
Contrabass means it sounds one octave below the normal Bass range.  the joke is that a Piccolo has a very high range, like only dogs and certain breeds of bird can hear it.  It also causes sterility, but it's usually the instrument the hot chicks in band play (go figure).

ANYWAY, back on topic. See, it's an Oxymoron, like Jumbo Shrimp, Military Intelligence, or Airplane Mechanic (had to take that shot)

I have been rather fortunate to have received many driving awards but not have to make too many acceptance speeches.  Unfortunately when the Feds give you an award there is no pre-show banquet to explain to them why you don't actually deserve the said award.  Since there is no awards show at the Federal level acceptance speeches aren't given.  There is however an address to pay your membership to their illustrious drivers guild fund.

BTW, you are a great purveyor!
