Just a bit of extra info regards this old topic.
There is no need to sever both Front and Rear wheel inputs to the Turn Relay to disable the auto cancel function. Just removing/cutting the Front wheel input at the Turn Relay will do the job.
So at the Turn Relay its the Pink/Blue wire to Pin 17 being the FR VSP input.
Makes things a little simpler and easier to restore to normal if needed.
