carb jet question..

Hi when i cleaned the jets the main jet has a hole all the way top to bottom,but the slow jet i think its called ..when i tried to clean them i could,nt see right through on all 4 of them is that right? even if i tried to with a pin do they work differently? the holes on the side and very bottom all ok and clean.Or do i have to take apart again ?

If you have the carbs apart then get 4 new #40 jets to replace the #38 that are in there .... it’ll tickover much better

yes, jets have a hole from top to bottom. on #38 and 40 idle jets you should be able to pass a .010" steel wire clear through if the jet is clean.
