Givi Wigrack 2

I saw the posts regarding fitting a Wingrack, I wondered if the person who left the photos showing the fitment might let me have a look, just got a whole set for my year 2000 FiY via eBay but they came from a ZZR 600, so obviously I'm gonna have to make up some fittings!! ( I'm guessing the US model is similar to my UK model??)Cheers!!

Hi Ochri,

The GiVi Wingrack systems I have seen in the past use (a) a model-specific mounting kit underneath and then ((IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/cool.gif) the wingrack attaches over the top of that.

So you might be better off just getting the 2000-VFR-specific mounting kit (looking at www.twistedthrottle.com, it appears to be GiVi part Y161).

Thanks for that, I am actually considerring doing that, my 'local' Honda dealer is also the nearest Givi agent which is a bit of luck! I was just hoping to actually see how the rack is mounted so as to decide which 'way to go'??

Don't apologise for using your bike mate, that's what it's for, you make me feel ashamed for leaving mine in the garage all winter (except for the odd dry sunny day!!), and using the 4 wheeled wet weather 'bike'!!
I like the look of that seat set up you have on your VFR, is that an after market product??

That is a Sargent, great seat. Very comfortable.
